Stump grinding is the process of chipping away and clearing a stump so that the location is safe for walking or can be used for another purpose. Stump grinding can be done anywhere from 5 to 7 days after tree removal to years after. Stump grinding is a safe alternative to removal for foundations and can get rid of stumps that won’t budge otherwise. It can be the best way to get rid of stubborn stumps. We can provide a proper assessment to decide whether grinding or complete removal is most appropriate.

Stump Removal

Stump Removal is the process of removing the entire tree stump with roots included. This is generally done when you need to run utilities or pour a new concrete foundation, and you don’t want the stump or roots to cause a concern. Stump removal is done with a backhoe, and only done outside the city limits after a one call is put in. This process is quite a bit more expensive, and benefits would be greater generally when there are several stumps to remove. It can be the best way to get rid of stubborn stumps. We can provide a proper assessment to decide whether grinding or complete removal is most appropriate.
